All Captains, this Tuesday, May 8th, is the last night to sign up new players and the last night that substitutes can be used. Also no substitutes can be used at the Conference Playoffs.

Well, everyone, it is almost time to start a new season. This season the Board of Directors is asking everyone to pay their season fees no later than the night of the General Membership meeting, July 10th.  There is plenty of time to set aside a few dollars every week to help ease the burden. There are two reasons for these actions. One, our Rules require that all season fees must be paid prior to the beginning of the new season ( see Article IV, Sec 2A of our Bylaws below) and two, it took forever to collect from several of the members. Also, everyone will be required to completely fill out a Member Application Form (which can be picked up at the Conference Playoffs) and must be submitted to the Board by the last sign-up meeting, June 19th.  If you sign up at the Conference Playoff you may submit only the team application, but the Member applications will be due at the Final Night of sign-ups, June 19th, with the season fees expected at or prior to the General Membership meeting. Of course there will be members with extenuating circumstances. If you feel you have a valid reason to delay your payment, see one of the four Board Officers. The Board will determine if a delay is warranted.

 

Article IV, Sec. 2A   Membership Fees must be paid in full at the beginning of each Open League and/or Mixed League season, when individual and team applications are submitted to the Board.  An application shall be considered properly registered when, within current policies, his/her application form and Individual Membership Fee are received by the Treasurer and/or designated Membership Chairman.  An individual application will be considered invalid if the full amount is not received by the Board’s established sign-up deadline date. No credit will be extended by the S.A.D.A.

This weeks Quality Points list has all of the current trophy darts highlighted. Everyone should verify their own record to ensure that they will receive the proper recognition. If you think that there is an error in any one of your scores you should notify Tom Trimmer as soon as possible. Don't wait until the awards are presented, it's too late then.
